Chris Rush joined the Utility Service Agency team in 2022, bringing a wealth of experience in sales, public safety, and specialized operations. In his current role, he oversees Dominion Energy Virginia's Tools, Fleet, and Lighting divisions, as well as Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware Public Power, Consultants, and Contractors.

Prior to joining us, Chris spent five years with SFS Tool and Safety (formerly Special Fleet Service), where he excelled in serving companies across the Mid-Atlantic region. His background in sales is complemented by an impressive 23-year career in law enforcement, culminating in his role as Commander of the Special Operations Division with the Harrisonburg Police Department. During his tenure, he played a pivotal role in violent crime and narcotics investigations, working on multiple federal and state task forces.

Chris is a recognized expert witness in both federal and state courts and a certified state instructor, having trained law enforcement officers and prosecuting attorneys across Virginia. He retired in 2016 as Division Commander and Lieutenant of Criminal Investigations/Major Crimes.

A graduate of Blue Ridge Community College, the FBI National Academy, and the University of Virginia, Chris brings a unique blend of tactical expertise and strategic leadership to our team. We are proud to have him as a key contributor to our work in the Virginia territory.
