Jeff Ahearn is CEO of Craig-Botetourt Electric Cooperative and Bee Online Advantage, LLC. Ahearn has served in this position for 6 years and brings with him nearly three decades of experience serving both electric and telephone cooperatives.
Prior to receiving a degree in Electrical Engineering Technology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, Jeff was introduced to the cooperative world at Tri-County Telephone Cooperative in Belhaven, NC in 1993. After this introduction, Jeff continued to work with Tri-County’s consultant while attending UNC Charlotte.
Following college, Jeff worked 12+ years with Tideland Electric Membership Corporation in Pantego, NC and then with Coastal Electric Cooperative in Midway, GA for 6 years. Jeff is inspired daily by his wife, Nanci, and their two sons, Michael and Alex. In his free time, Jeff enjoys spending time with his family fishing, hunting, and water skiing.
