Randy Marcus is CSX’s Director of State Relations in Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia serving as CSX’s lead government relations and public affairs representative. Randy joined CSX in 2015 and he has led the company’s engagement in the Transforming Rail in Virginia initiative, Long Bridge Expansion Project, the DC2RVA High-Speed Rail Study, while representing the railroad before legislatures, state agencies, local governments and business and community groups across Virginia, West Virginia and the District of Columbia.

Previously, Randy worked 10 years in Virginia state government in various positions including as Senior Policy Advisor to Governor Terry McAuliffe, a senior member of Governor Bob McDonnell’s economic development team and Chief of Staff to Lieutenant Governor Bill Bolling.
