Dennis Reece is the Director of Engineering & Operations at Central Virginia Services, Inc. (CVSI) dba Firefly Fiber Broadband (Firefly). Firefly is a wholly owned subsidiary of Central Virginia Electric Cooperative (CVEC).
Mr. Reece has nearly three decades of rural telecommunications experience, including management of construction and operations, regional and local partnerships, and grants. He joined Firefly in February 2020.
Before joining Firefly, Mr. Reece spent over 23 years at Citizens Telephone Cooperative, Inc., including 12 years as Assistant General Manager and Chief Operating Officer of the cooperative and Citizens Cablevision, Inc. He is a native of Floyd County, VA, and an alumnus of Virginia Tech.
